QUOTABLE "When you reflect back to the beginning of the year, we knew we had a talented group. We were fairly inexperienced in a number of areas. So I feel like once the season is over, you look back and you're pleased with the result of the season to an extent of winning the conference and going 11-1. "Obviously, you want to win the whole thing, and it didn't end the way we hoped. We knew we had a team that would compete, and these guys did that. Overall, it was a rewarding year, so some of the things we accomplished, although we didn't accomplish the ultimate goal."
