The Bentonville Tiger Softball team moved their record to 17-1 (7-0) Thursday night with a 2-0 victory over Fort Smith Southside.
Maddy Prough was untouchable on Thursday giving up only a single while striking out 11 batters. This followed up her last outing against Fayetteville where she also gave up only one hit and fanned 16.
Megan Crownover went 2-3 on the night and picked up the only RBI of the game with a 2 out 2 strike RBI single that drove in Griffith. Crownover then scored on a 3 base error when the left fielder misplayed the ball and Crownover came all the way around the score.
