The Bentonville Tiger Softball team got a big conference win over Rogers Tuesday night at the Tiger Athletic Complex.

Bentonville Pitchers Maddy Prough and Cailey Cochran combined for 7 innings allowing 1 unearned run while striking out 6 batters and allowing 5 hits. Cochran came in during the 4th inning and picked up the conference win.

Bentonville scored one unearned run on a Haley Cornell sac fly in the sixth before scoring the winning run on a perfectly executed squeeze bunt by C.J Gonzalez in the bottom of the seventh.

Bentonville will be back in action Thursday night when they host Heritage with Varsity action kicking off at 5:00.
