The Bentonville Tiger Softball team inched closer to a conference title with a 9-4 win over Rogers Thursday night at Veterans Park.
Maddy Prough got the win on the mound going all seven innings allowing 5 hits and 4 runs while striking out 9. Prough is now 15-0 on the season while the Bentonville Tigers are 25-1 (12-0) in league play.
The Tigers collected 11 hits on the night with 3 coming from Jenna Wildamen while Payton Wildamen and Tymber Riley had 2 each. Megan Crownover collected 3 RBI including a 2 RBI Double, Jordan Gartman and Jenna Wildamen collected 2 RBI apiece and Payton Wildamen collected a loud RBI when she lofted a rocket that kissed the clouds before landing far beyond the left field fence.
